Connect Fibre Supports Quarnford Memorial Hall with £250 Grant for Tea & Tots Group

At Connect Fibre, building connections means more than delivering blazing-fast broadband. It’s about strengthening the communities we serve – both online and offline.

That’s why we’re delighted to share that Connect Fibre has awarded a £250 community grant to Quarnford Memorial Hall to support its much-loved Tea & Tots group in rural Staffordshire.

A Vital Space for Local Families

Tea & Tots is a monthly group that brings together parents, carers, babies and toddlers from across the Quarnford area. In rural communities, where local services can be limited and travel isn’t always easy, opportunities to meet other families can make a real difference.

The group provides a warm, welcoming space where little ones can play and explore, and grown-ups can enjoy a cuppa, a chat and some much-needed support from others who understand the ups and downs of family life.

The £250 grant from Connect Fibre will help:

  • Cover hall hire costs
  • Provide healthy snacks for children
  • Purchase sensory toys to support early development
  • Support outreach to welcome even more local families#

Building Connections Beyond Broadband

Carolyn Renwick, Community Engagement Officer at Connect Fibre, said:

“Tea & Tots is a lifeline for families in rural communities. At Connect Fibre, we believe in building connections that go beyond broadband, helping people feel seen, supported and part of something bigger.”

As a community-first broadband provider, Connect Fibre is passionate about making a positive impact in the areas it serves. Alongside rolling out state-of-the-art full fibre infrastructure across parts of rural Staffordshire and Derbyshire – delivering fast, reliable and affordable internet – the business remains equally committed to investing directly in local initiatives that bring people together.

Because strong communities aren’t just built on great connectivity. They’re built on meaningful connections, shared spaces and support for one another.
