"My role is to ensure that the team has everything they need to work effectively for you, our customer, delivering a superb modern network and continuing great service.

I've had a long career in telecom finance and strategy across over 70 countries. Partly by accident, I invested in a Swedish fibre operator almost 20 years ago - Sweden was the first country in the world to move away from copper to real fibre full broadband. I then started the regulatory revolution that now enables Connect Fibre to use existing BT Openreach infrastructure to minimise disruption to residents.

I'm the father of four young adults and I enjoy eating out and exploring London and other cities by foot. I'm also involved with a fibre development project in Zambia that is bringing better and cheaper broadband; and donating connections to local schools."

"As CTO I ensure that Connect Fibre delivers its network and services using best in class technology, systems and processes. I have spent nearly 3 decades working with telecommunications technology with almost nearly half of that spent building full fibre broadband networks in the UK and other countries.

"My role is to orchestrate and manage the execution of all things in designing the network and physically delivering connectivity into homes across the UK at breakneck speeds.

With years of service under my belt wearing multiple hats (engineering to senior management), it’s been a refreshing start to an exciting journey within a rapidly growing industry. "My role is to ensure that everyone has an amazing experience with Connect Fibre. I'm responsible for creating the fantastic full fibre packages we offer and then making sure that we get, grow, and keep as many happy customers as possible.

I'm in my dream job as I love technology. I've spent almost all of my career providing internet services, starting with dial-up (56Kbps!) services at Freeserve. I'm a Cambridge economics graduate.

I've finally admitted that my sporting days are over, and I now just coach my son's football team. I'm also a Governor at my daughter's secondary school. Other pastimes include film, cycling, home automation, and trying to teach myself to play the piano."

"I lead the Finance and Programme Management functions and I am passionate about technology, finance and people.

I've spent many years working with corporate and SME senior management teams as a HR business partner, ensuring businesses have the correct infrastructure in place to enable employees to drive engagement and productivity.

I live in South Hams - this gives me the opportunity to engage my secret passion which is to be a beach bum with my dog. We are always to be found on the beach, be it a long walk or just enjoying the breath-taking views of the area."

"I manage the design team and our innovative suppliers to create the plans for how we build our full fibre in each town. It's a challenging task, and I work closely with our surveyors to make sure that all work can be done as quickly as possible with minimal disruption to local residents.

I have worked for many major communications providers globally in a multitude of roles across the UK, South Africa, Barbados and most of Western Europe, spending many years in Holland.

I enjoy walking in the countryside with my 2 English Springer Spaniels Oscar & Molly. I have done enough flying, so enjoy caravanning with my family in the Lake District, Devon and Cornwall."

"I ensure that we are fully compliant with all Openreach requirements, so that we can maximise using existing street infrastructure to minimise the amount of new construction needed. I have to daily manage multiple processes and work closely with Openreach to strengthen our collaborative relationship as Connect Fibre grows.

I started in the telecoms industry as Operations Coordinator for a small ISP specialising in rural broadband, from there I transitioned to a more technical role at a planning contractor company working for Virgin Media designing large scale infrastructure plans. Which led me to where I am today!

Outside of work I run a small blog for some digital art I create, small being the operative word! I also spend a lot of time walking my sausage dog, Gonzo, and enjoying live music."

"I have worked in design and planning for a number of years now and prior to that I worked in the fibre industry installing fibre (and copper) from the exchange to the homes and businesses.

Prior to working in telecoms, I served in the Armed forces for ten years which taught me how to be a survivor and to overcome any obstacles or circumstances that might get in my way.

"Within my role I am a fibre build lead and take great importance and responsibility for all site lead operations ensuring everything is to top standard. I have been with the telecoms industry for over 30 years and take great pride in my work and enjoy my role fully!

When I am home away from work I try my hand at DIY and car maintenance. "My role at Connect Fibre is to complete surveys of new towns as part of our planning process, so that we can build as efficiently and quickly as possible.

Prior to joining the team, I worked on several large projects such as the M4 Smart Motorway and for Thames Water as a Drainage Surveyor.

Outside of work, rugby is my passion.  I represented both England and Wales rugby at youth level and I'm still a very keen player."

"An important aspect of my role is to ensure we have the appropriate governance to support an efficient delivery process, that enhances the team’s performance and provides full visibility of our planning/build progress. 

I have many years’ experience in deploying, operating and maintaining telecom systems, including, HF and microwave radio, satellite earth stations, tropospheric scatter, GSM and fibre networks.  My engineering background is from the Royal Air Force and I have acquired many years of project, programme and portfolio management experience from delivering telecom systems throughout Europe, Asia and the USA. 

When I’m not working, I spend hours waiting for my daughters to return my calls, which allows me plenty of time to enjoy reading, live music and walking down hills."

I have always been customer facing in some way in past roles. Working within a busy debt collection company I quickly developed my listening skills and learnt how to adapt my skills to ensure I am always empathetic to customers situations. I have many years within the motor trade from sales to management, allowing me to fine tune my customer skills even further.

I am best known as the crazy cat lady to my family and friends! I have several cats whom I adore, and I enjoy finding new ways to keep them entertained. I have a beautiful grandson whom I love spending as much time with whenever possible. I am also waiting in anticipation for my granddaughter. When I have some time for myself, I enjoy slow walks in the countryside or curled up on the sofa watching films."

"As an assistant accountant my primary role is to assist the CFO in managing, completing, and preparing the daily financial and accounting operations of Connect Fibre.

I love the challenge of analysing numbers, using financial formulas, and calculating metrics. The accounting field has plenty of great opportunities to offer! I completed my bachelor’s degree in economics at the Hague University in the Netherlands and I am AAT part qualified working towards my degree (ACCA) to become a chartered accountant.

Outside of work, I am a mum of 2 boys… I love walking as it’s a great way to experience the world around you, I love trying/discovering different food and travelling, as I believe travel is the best way to immerse yourself in language, culture and history!"

"My role is to attend Connect Fibre sites to determine the best installation route for fibre optic network lines, and to liaise with our design team to plan optical fibre paths and produce maps and drawings.

I've worked in multiple telecoms roles including cabling, customer services, installations, and networking before becoming a surveyor for the last 3 years.

I have BTEC Advanced Awards in managing access networking (level 3), managing Pons & Air blown fibre system (level 3) and Fibre Optic cabling in an Internal  and External environment. 

I love playing touch rugby, volleyball, swimming, and taking my kids on a walk or bike riding."

"At Connect Fibre we aim to lessen the need for civils work in as many areas as possible. I ensure that we have an open and effective relationship with Openreach, to be able to safely and compliantly utilise their existing infrastructure as much as possible. I also support various different teams to ensure that compliance is in place so that they can carry out their jobs without disruption to get the end result, which is happy customers connected! 

I started my working life in dentistry as a qualified Dental Nurse but after 6 years, I made the decision to change my career as it didn't offer the great work and home life balance I wanted. I then moved into customer services and then into the world of telecoms. Before joining this great team, I spent 18 months working with a Virgin Media networking contract partner.

Outside of work, I have two young sons and a little Cockapoo so we are usually out and about exploring and spending quality time together. I also have a new found passion for fitness and will be with my PT at least 2-3 times a week."

"I lead the procurement function ensuring we have a robust supply of all materials, equipment & services needed to support our roll-out plans. We only pick the highest quality partners so that our customers can experience the fastest internet, at a fair price. Naturally I work very closely with the delivery team to predict demand, mitigate any potential risks, and ultimately ensure they have everything necessary to deliver our first-class fibre network.

"I plan the core fibre network that delivers the bandwidth from our data centres to each of our towns, guaranteeing hyperfast full fibre speeds to all of our customers.

"My role as an apprentice is to learn and gain new skills and experience from working alongside the amazing team at connect fibre.

"I ensure that when it comes to building our network in new towns that all of the duct sections from box to box are clear and ready for our cables, and I also fix any problems we come across underground.

"I support the project team by ensuring that our design and delivery project plans are kept up to date. My role is to ensure that the steps needed to ensure we deliver our full fibre network as quickly and as safely to residents, are carried out as efficiently as possible.

I have undertaken various roles in the fibre industry over the past two and a half years within the Programme Management Office after moving from the IT industry.

I have quite a large family with four children between myself and my partner, so I spend a lot of my time taking part in family activities. When I do get some child-free time, I love to go out hill walking."

"My role is to lead the sales teams and make sure that our services surpass customer expectations. We strive to provide great solutions to our customers that will not only enhance their broadband experience, but also so that they want to stay with us for life. 

I’ve spent 20 years making sure my customers feel connected to a brand because the service they’ve received is memorable and trustworthy. I have worked in many areas from fashion retail to tech and telco. 

I am passionate about music. I studied music tech at the University in Reading. Now I love sharing that passion with my toddler son although for now we’re very much still on the pots and pan drum kit. I also recently discovered a love of running. The goal is to one day attempt the London marathon (if my ankles hold out)."

I started in the telecoms industry as a Junior coordinator, later progressing to a Junior Project Manager for a Tier one design and build Partner in Cambridge, where I completed my CTPM Level 4 certification. This has now brought me to where I am today at Connect Fibre.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym and doing spontaneous activities like skydiving & skiing when I have the time!

I maintain and repair public and private telephone systems and maintain, test and repair telecommunications ducting underground so we can make sure that our customers can have the best possible internet in the area. 

I have been in telecommunications for 4/5 years doing many different job roles I have been a telecommunications Cabler for 3 years and now I have moved on to be a civils avoidance worker.

My role in Connect Fibre is to lead and engage the field sales teams to ensure that they find the right broadband solutions for our customers' modern day requirements. These teams are the friendly faces that you will see in and around your community.
Integrity and transparency are my core foundations and we are building a team to put the customer first in everything we do and to create an engaging and open customer experience.

I’ve spent many, many years in retail businesses and previously worked in fast paced food retail, bespoke sofas through to technology and telco.
At home I love to chill with my wife, take our two dogs for walks and have a love of cooking.

I am an Apprentice Engineer working within all teams at Connect Fibre. Gaining more competence and experience within the telecoms industry. And helping connect fibre build networks and producing faster speeds for the customers. Outside of work I play rugby which I have done for the last 10 years.

Hello, I'm Charlotte, though I'm also a Lottie! I'm a little bit of a customer champion; the friendly voice at the end of the phone whenever you have a question or a problem. I love talking to people and providing resolutions, have a lot of experience in Customer Service and Technical Support roles, and thrive on always doing my absolute best to give excellent service, first time, all of the time! 

Outside of work, I am a loving human-parent (or rather, a devoted servant) to a very sweet and chatty tortoiseshell cat who is always keeping me occupied with her cute mischief-making. I am also an aspiring high fantasy writer, proud aunt, resident Lord of the Rings enthusiast, and eager gamer. 

As a seasoned professional in the engineering field with 16 years of experience, I am eager to bring my skills and expertise to my role as head of Network at Connect Fibre. My focus is on managing the NOC and Network Teams to ensure smooth operation of the network and related services, while keeping an eye on future growth opportunities that align with Connect Fibre's business goals.

I have a solid background leading teams in the industry, having spent six years at Gigaclear and Community Fibre where I was responsible for driving innovation and scaling infrastructure. My technical knowledge and leadership skills enable me to implement standards and procedures to enhance business functionality, as well as to build positive relationships with clients.

My commitment to quality and service excellence is evident in my ability to launch new technology operations and manage client and vendor relationships, policies, procedures, and SLAs effectively. I am excited to bring my passion and expertise to my new role at Connect Fibre.

Outside of work, I have a passion for spending time with my family, taking walks with our dogs, and, if time permits, indulging in my love of painting, with a focus on landscapes and seascapes. These activities allow me to recharge and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

As a digital marketing apprentice, my role is to learn and also gain new skills within the company. My role includes assisting the marketing manager in devising and delivering innovative marketing programmes to raise awareness of our brand.

Hi! I’m Leo. When you call us I’m the friendly voice at the other end to help you with whatever you need - even if it’s just a small question. My focus is looking after people and making sure that you’re happy with your service. I enjoy learning about people and figuring out how I can best help you. Giving you the best service I can is my biggest priority. I have a lot of Customer service experience and enjoy getting stuck into tech problems.

Outside of work, I am a bit of a tech enthusiast, a gamer, a lovable rascal, and a word nerd. I travel as much as I can and will grab any opportunity to have an adventure. I am a big fan of cosplay, spinning wool, crocheting, and trying any hobby at least once (maybe twice to be sure). I also have three mischievous cats who all remind me, daily, that they are in charge at home.

My role is to provide the fibre cable from the telegraph pole to your house, into the property, install our equipment and connect your equipment.

Telecoms wasn’t my first job from school, I worked in a ladder factory for a couple of years, now I climb them instead of building them. I have worked in the telecoms industry for 10 years installing and repairing broadband and love seeing how super fast speeds can help people.

Outside of work I enjoy keeping up with the latest tech, playing video games on my custom-built computer, being with friends and family, and chilling on the sofa with my partner.

My role explores technical and creative solutions to create robust and reliable systems to streamline the customer experience. It also involves researching and developing new tooling to increase the team’s effectiveness.

Prior to working at Connect Fibre, I was a software developer utilising the mathematical and computational approach to problem-solving I obtained through my degree and various side projects. In my spare time, I play frisbee.

I am a network automation engineer, my job is to help our network scale to the ever-increasing demands of our expanding customer base and product portfolio. Outside of work, I love travelling, music, computer games, playing guitar and Olympic Weightlifting

I specialise in supporting the marketing strategies that build our brand awareness in addition to promoting the fantastic service that Connect Fibre provides.

After graduating from University I worked in events and leisure marketing before joining the Connect Fibre team.

Outside of Connect Fibre, you will find me playing or watching any type of sport possible including football, cricket and the NFL.

My role entails optimising fibre optic networks and improving the design stages for the CF team. We utilise cutting-edge software to design the best quality networks and seek novel solutions to overcome technical and physical barriers. All of this means that our customers are being provided with the best class fibre services.

My background is in problem-solving and fundamentally understanding systems. I have degrees in astrophysics and computational physics, which have taught me the importance of first principles thinking and optimising solutions for many different systems. When I am not optimising systems, I am most likely playing golf, football or rugby... or I am at the pub watching it! I also spend a lot of time reading and learning about the new advances in maths & physics, space travel and AI.

I'm David Lee and I am Connect Fibre's Head of Installations. I run the Installations team, planning and overseeing all Customer installations.

I have worked in telecommunications for over 20 years in various roles.

In my spare time, I love to play Golf and I am the Vice Captain of my Golf club. I also have a passion for football, both playing it and supporting it. My team is Burnley.

Hi, I’m Jam. My role (or should I say passion) is to provide customers a memorable journey that is enjoyable, seamless and most of all, refreshing! With 12 years of experience in telemarketing, sales and operational management, I specialise in leading a team dedicated to delivering tailored solutions and building long-lasting customer relationships.

Choosing the right broadband service can be a daunting task for customers, so we’re here dedicated to making the process as easy and straightforward as possible, and always on hand to answer questions and exceed expectations.

With Jam at the helm, customers can rest assured they are in great hands when it comes to choosing a full fibre broadband service that meets their needs.

As Supervisor of the installations team, I ensure our engineers on the ground are working in a safe manner, to deliver a great customer experience whilst installing our products. Help overcome issues on the day, ensuring they have the correct tools and equipment to get the customer connected.

Before this role, I was a Senior Engineer at Openreach overcoming complex network issues, Surveying, and planning new routes. Including Dig and Fix projects with Civils teams. I also served in the Army (Royal Engineers).

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and walking in the Peaks. I'm also an On-call firefighter and a full team member of the Edale Mountain Rescue Team

As a Customer Service Executive with a plethora of experience in customer support, technical support and sales I am hoping to help Connect Fibre achieve a 4.9 rating on Trustpilot by driving continuous improvement in our team.

In my private life, I am a family man with an eternal thirst for knowledge and various hobbies including technology, science history and art.

Previously I was an apprentice-trained precision engineer making mainly aerospace and nuclear parts, I then decided to change my career and branched into fibre to which I have worked on both open reach and virgin networks.

I am a family man, I have 2 girls and 3 dogs (yes it is chaos), so in my spare time we like to go on family days out.

I am an installations engineer, so my role is to get the fibre physically into our customer's homes.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing football or basketball, and I also play the drums when I get the chance!

My main hobbies are being an avid Aston Villa fan and gaming.

In my free time, I like to be outdoors, exploring new places! 

I am a CPE - ONT Lead Engineer, my roles and responsibility are to manage ONT/CPE in the Connect Fibre infrastructure, creating a basic technical document such as troubleshooting instructions guide for CC team, process technical best practices i.e. ONT/CPE functional requirements, improve and scale ONT/CPE structures and [build, install, manage, and monitor new ONT/CPE platforms for future improvements]. Lastly, help and support to the Network engineering team members with any technical related.

My hobbies are Music, Dance, Martial arts, athletics, family-friends gathering,  Motorbike stunts, DIY, board games (chess, snake and ladders, ludo), sports (football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton), video games and painting.

I have joined the team to innovate the IT systems to ensure data integrity for data management through all of Connect Fibres’ systems. Working closely with all areas of the business my role will create new ways of working and ensure Connect Fibre is at the cutting edge of innovation moving forward.

As well as over 20 years as a GIS specialist within the Telecommunications sector, I have managed the High Level Design team at Gigaclear, found solutions for multiple FTTP companies whilst running Geomatikk UK and worked for 3-GIS on their PNI product.

Outside of work I am a Star Wars fan whose wife had to marry me on the 4th May!, I can often be found visiting places across the UK and am a trained archaeologist (it was my undergraduate degree).

I'm a Sales Executive at Connect Fibre, which means I get to interact with super interesting people from across the country and make their lives better by giving them the best Broadband services in the country.

My background is in Account & Operations Management at large multinational corporations, however, I'm so glad to have moved over to Connect Fibre... there's something about the buzz of a start-up which can't be matched elsewhere.

I love to workout (bodybuilding), learn about nutrition & delve in psychology; essentially everything & anything to do with the human body & mind...hence my Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry!

My role at Connect Fibre is to design and implement the network architecture to deliver high-speed internet access to our customers.

In the past, I have worked at Huawei and VirginMediaO2 in delivering full fibre internet. Outside of work, I enjoy taking my family on road trips and writing blogs on all things IT-related.
