A guide to selecting which Connect Fibre package is right for your home or business
Here at Connect Fibre we know that all of this may look a little confusing and well... what does it all mean? We appreciate that not everybody understands the differences that a full fibre broadband package can make to your home or business.
In simple terms traditional standard broadband (that relies on copper wire) is like being stuck behind a tractor on the motorway.
It's slower. There may be unexpected stalls and you may be watching other people overtake you. A few examples of how this translates into your experience at home or work are: unexpected drops in service, fuzzy images on your tv when streaming, and waiting for web pages to load.
The difference in full fibre to the property is that it allows you to pull away into the fast lane, free from any traffic, and with unrestricted access to the road.
As we are more and more connected every day and we rely more and more on the internet, we demand more from the internet. Full fibre delivers a seamless experience in comparison to standard broadband and promises to handle more from us. And most importantly, keep up with us as we need more from it.

Our Packages*
All of our packages are full fibre and they all include a router with the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology.
The bandwidth (speed) of our packages ranges from 50Mbps to 1000Mbps. The more bandwidth you have, the more devices you will be able to connect with less interference.
A good way to help you to decide which package is best is to count all the devices you use on your Wi-Fi. (Don't forget your smart tv!)
Our Basic full fibre package at 50Mbps, is on average quicker than standard broadband. The difference in our network also is that it is symmetrical, meaning the download and upload speeds are identical. Unlike other providers where your upload speed may be a fraction of the download.
We have two different routers and which one you end up with will depend on which package you choose. The latest Wi-Fi 6 technology essentially means that we can connect more devices to your router without the hardware getting overwhelmed by requests from multiple devices. The Pro has a few other features however, and is designed for a little more than the standard 6.
Tip: The greater the number of devices you need to connect, the more bandwidth you will need, so the more likely you will need the Wi-Fi 6 Pro router with the Hypersonic package.
In short, we are offering you full fibre to your property to cut down on the inconvenience of antiquated copper wire. All of our packages include the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology and our network is symmetrical to deliver what we believe is an essential service to you. Connect Mesh (add-on)
We know that not every property is the same and while our engineers do their best to find the optimal space in your house for your router, there are situations it may need a little help to give you the best range.
This is why we offer Connect Mesh as an add on to all of our customers. With an easy set up (that we will help with), up to two extra nodes will talk to your router giving you guaranteed 50Mbps in every room. This eradicates spots in your house that your network can't reach and keeps you connected at all times everywhere inside your property.
