A brief overview of the Diagnostic Dashboard which shows customers connections statistic
We won't cover all the options here, as most of them are not necessary for customer service. If you are ever unsure reach out.
You may hear this called MCP, strictly speaking this isn't technically MCP and should be referred to as Diagnostic Dashboard/DiagD/DaigDash. This is because MCP it's another system entirely so this may lead to confusing in some cases.
Radius User Name: Numbers here should match the customers UPRN on Hubspot
Radius Network Profile: Should match the type of IP Address (CGNAT/Public/Static) the customer is suppose to have and must match Hubspot, otherwise can cause issues
Radius Group Name: This is the speed profile applied to the line and should match what is on the customer is paying for (this example shows 1000Mbps aka 1Gps)
Last Session Uptime: Shows how long the router has been online since last reboot or drop. (Not 100% reliable)
All Customer Session Data: Press click to view, and it will show you all the time. the router has gone online and offline. (Not 100% reliable)
ONU up/down: This should be green is the ONT is online if red focus on the ONT troubleshooting steps
ONT UNI (Ethernet) State: This shows the Ethernet connection between the ONT and router and should be green
ONT UNI (Ethernet) Duplex: This should be always full. if it shows us half then you need to focus on the connection between the ONT and the router. Fault cable, reseat the cable, reboot etc.
ONT UNI (Ethernet) Speed: This can vary depending if on 1000Mbps or are higher package, but you should see either a 1Gbps or 2.5Gbps. If you see something like 500Mbps and they're on 1Gbps, this will be causing a speed issue and you need to focus on the connection between the router and the ONT.
ONT CRC Errors
(Downstream): This should be below 100-200. If you're seeing higher numbers than this, then it will likely need an engineer. Reach of for a second opinion before booking an engineer
ONT CRC Errors
(Upstream): This should be below 100-200. If you're seeing higher numbers than this, then it will likely need an engineer. Reach of for a second opinion before booking an engineer
Profile Name: This is the speed profile applied to the line and should match what is on the customer is paying for.
Tx Rate: This should be between +0.5dBm and +7.0 dB. NOTE: This can bounce around when you are refreshing it.
Rx Rate: This should be between -10dBm to -26dBm. NOTE: This can bounce around when you are refreshing it.
