Running speed tests on TAUC

Step by step guide on how to run a speed test on the TP-Link TAUC system

Follow these steps to perform a speed test for the customer using the TAUC system:

  1. Open the TAUC System
    Launch the TAUC system and log in.

  2. Locate the Customer’s Network
    Find and select the customer's network in the system.

  3. Access the Customer's Account
    Once in the customer's account, you will see the main dashboard.

  4. Click the 'Internet' Button
    On the left side of the screen, click the 'Internet' button.

  5. Scroll Down to the Bottom of the Screen
    After clicking 'Internet,' scroll down to find the test options at the bottom of the screen.

  6. Choose the Test Method
    Select the 'Test Method' you want to use:

    • TR-143: Tests both the main router and mesh nodes.
    • Ookla: Tests only the main router.
  7. Select the Correct Test Profile
    Ensure you set the test profile to match the speed package the customer is subscribed to.

  8. Complete the Test
    Allow the test to run, then check the results for Latency, Download, and Upload speeds.

That's it! You'll now have the test results to assist the customer.
