If none of your devices can connect to the Internet, check the lights on the box on the wall, know as the ONT
IMPORANT: If you have an issue. Make sure all cable are secure/snug and haven't come loose. Power down for 15mins then power back on and wait 3mins for the lights to settle
Power: Must be a solid green at all times
- Power connector has come loose.
- Problem with the plug socket. Plug a lamp into the same plug socket and see if it turns on.
- A house/room fuse tripped
- Faulty unit that needs replacing
Optical: This should be a solid green at all times (If the power light is off, this will also be OFF)
- Loose connector
- If just turned on wait three minutes to see if the light comes on.
- Outside fault that requires an engineer
Alarm: This should be a OFF at all times
- If just turned on wait three minutes to see if it goes OFF
- Fault that requires Customer Services
2.5GE: This should either be on or flashing green
- Flashes green when the Internet is in use.
- Solid green when the Internet is online but not in use.
- If OFF: the Ethernet cable may not be connected correct between the ONT and Router
- If OFF: Ethernet Cable could be fault, try changing the cable
- If OFF: Could be and issue with the Router
- If OFF: Could be an issue with the ONT
