That’s why we’re proud to announce that Connect Fibre has awarded a £500 community grant to Kingsley Parish Council to help fund a new, life-saving defibrillator for the local community in Staffordshire.

As the first tier of local government, Kingsley Parish Council plays a crucial role in representing residents and maintaining essential local amenities within the parish.

Their responsibilities include the upkeep of parks, playing fields and open spaces, as well as managing allotments and the local cemetery—ensuring that Kingsley remains a safe, welcoming and well-cared-for place to live.

The grant from Connect Fibre will contribute towards the cost of replacing the community’s existing defibrillator, which has reached the end of its operational life after serving the area for many years.

This equipment has played a vital role in emergency situations, providing immediate assistance in cases of sudden cardiac arrest where every second counts.

An Urgent Need for the Community
