How to set up my TP-Link Mesh system?

Below you will find the three different ways you can set up a TP-Link mesh node

Option 1: Via the Aginet Customer App

1. Download the Aginet app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Create a TP-Link account.
3. Connect to your home network.
4. Tap the '+' icon in the top right corner of the home screen.
5. Select "Add Agent."
6. Choose "Mesh Device."
7. Pick a home layout that best represents your property.
8. Place the mesh node where the app suggests and plug it in.
9. Wait for the device to power up and start flashing blue.
10. The app will automatically find the device and connect it to your network, completing any necessary updates.

Option 2: Via WPS (Recommended to Do With Two People)

1. Ensure your main router is powered on and working properly.
2. Place the mesh node close to the main router (you can move it later).
3. Power on the mesh node and wait until it starts flashing blue.
4. Hold the WPS button on the back of the mesh node for 5 seconds.
5. Go to the main router and hold its WPS button for 5 seconds (make sure both are pressed within 30 seconds of each other).

Option 3: Via Ethernet Cable

1. Ensure your main router is powered on and working properly.
2. Place the mesh node next to the router.
3. Power on the mesh node and wait until it starts flashing blue.
4. Plug one end of the supplied Ethernet cable into the mesh node and the other end into the main router.
5. Wait for about 5 minutes.
6. Once the mesh node shows a solid green light, unplug it and move it to your desired location, ensuring it’s not too far from the router (you can adjust it later).
