The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented application engineer to join our dynamic team and support the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications. 

Working closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams, you will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business and customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to play a big part in our transformation plans. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical development issues, providing timely and effective solutions. 
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical development documentation, including user guides, system documentation, and design specifications. 
  • Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality, performance and adherence to coding standards. 
  • Work closely with other engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to the design and development process 
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the development process, ensuring efficiency and quality in application delivery. 

The Candidate

A developer with a proven track record in supporting successful development projects, involved in the full development lifecycle from analysis to development. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python). 
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Devops etc.). 
  • Experience of Cloud infrastructures Azure or AWS 
  • Working experience of API’ and REST API’s integrations 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate development risks effectively. 
  • Experience of development and integration of SAAS applications, Hubspot beneficial but not essential 
  • Knowledge of geopandas, numpy, node or SQL is desirable but not essential  
  • experience with GIT and Docker processes beneficial  
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. 
  • Experience as a junior developer or equivalent role 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
